For sale is a beautiful 19th century Dore a Sevres Princess Caroline Bonaparte hand painted portrait cabinet plate. Caroline Bonaparte Murat was Napoleon’syounger sister and Queen Consort of Naples and Sicily and Princess ConsortMurat. The plate has a beautiful gold color border decorated with gilded Napoleon’screst. The plate was likely made between 1804and 1809 by the Manufactory Imperiale de Sevres (based on the style of the mark), and is marked “M Imple deSevres”. Excellent condition. No chips, scratches, cracks or repairs. Itmeasures 9 ½ inches in diameter.

This piece has been in our family for many generations and is now finally for sale.
