Here is a very cool antique Kaskara sword that I think is from Africa and dates to the 1800s. It is heavy and well made. The blade does flex, but it is also strong. The blade is decorated with symbols and designs. The handle is wood, but it is cracked, so I have the shrink wrap on it to hold it together better. The leather wrap that goes around the wood is long gone. I do have a couple pics of the tang with the handle and guard removed. Please see pics for more details.
