Antique 1800’s X-Large Heavy Porcelain Washbasin & Pitcher Gladstone England:

This antique 1800’s washbasin and matching pitcher are in awesome condition! It is a very large, very heavy set. Made at Gladstone Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent, England in the 1800’s. The pitcher holds over 1 gallon. Pitcher is 11\" tall and 9.5\" wide, at the widest point. The two items weigh 9.5 lbs., and shipping box is very large. Shipping is high because of this. Local pick-up is allowed. This set may be ironstone, rather than porcelain, but there are no markings about this. Matching washbasin is big - 14\" in diameter and 5\" in height from the table. Flowers look like pink dogwood flowers with green leaves on brown branches. Even the real gold trim still sparkles in the light. There are no chips or breaks. Please enlarge all pictures to see great antique condition of this piece. The white ironstone is still clean with no stains. There are just two 1\" small, hairline cracks in the interior upper part by the rim of the pitcher. This can be seen in picture #11 above. These do not detract from the appearance of this antique piece. Gladstone Pottery Museum and grounds are still open to the public in the city of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire England. The Pottery first opened in 1869. Gorgeous set!
