Welcome to my listing for: American Legion San Fernando #176 Matchbook c1940\'s-50\'s Full 20-Strike All sticks are present. Showing only minor signs of wear or handling consistentwith its age. Colors are vibrant. In good to very good condition. This pack arrived as part of one of a small number of very large and well cared for lifetime collections. The collectors had the foresight several decades ago to preserve the original look and feel of what are now 50, 60 and in some cases 70+ year old little windows of graphic and cultural history simply by not stripping out the matches. I have sent thousands of these vintage packs into the hands of very happy buyers and have received nothing but compliments and some interesting stories and personal memories connected to the companies represented on the covers. I add about 200-300 to the collection here on every 3-4 weeks.95% of the collection are full unstruck packs in very good to excellent condition. There are some exceptions where there are a few or more matches missing (where I normally will note in the description) and/or marks on the on the strike area or the condition is less than very good or very good. Working alone, I don\'t have the available time to describeevery pack in the detail I would like to. For every matchbook, I have provided quality photos of both sides of a closed pack, the matches contained within and any graphics or text, if present. I do have multiples of some designs. The matchbook you see in the photos is either the exact example that you will receive or the one I send will be in as good - or better condition. To date, I have not received any requests to return any matchbooks that I have sold so far. Please rely on the photos to assessthe condition. Matchbooks will ship securely in a 4\" x 4\" x 4\" new cardboard box via USPS first class service with a tracking number.
