Golden Age / pre-code WW2 with a propaganda / caricature style cover. Came out while the US was fully engaged in the war - great piece of history! Complete, No cutouts, nothing missing. Is a little larger / taller than standard format - can see the impact of decades of storage with this issue being a little bit taller - the top ~1/8th inch has a lot of bends, and on back is bent over a bit. Front cover has a nip out of upper right, ticks on spine...Both covers have areas of light tanning, age related dirt, etc. - and on interior, tiny pieces of tape here and there - likely to reinforce where tearing had started? Spine is in tact - has some small horizontal tears here and there, but has no splits, cover attached. Interior is a mix of black and white storied and traditional color comic pages - interior looks good.
