First appearance of the Sinister Six (Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman, and the Vulture) in a new 41-page story, \"The Sinister Six!\" Script by Stan Lee, art by Steve Ditko; Dr. Octopus organizes the Sinister Six, composed of other Spider-Man Villains; They capture Betty Brant and Aunt May and force Spider-Man to rescue them. Cameos by the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Iron Man, Giant Man, and the Wasp. Lots of back-up features (all art by Ditko): 14 pages of pin-ups (Spider-Man\'s most famous foes); 9-page \"The Secrets of Spider-Man\"; 3-page \"How Stan Lee and Steve Ditko Create Spider-Man!\"; and other miscellaneous pin-ups. Giant 76-page issue! Most of this issue reprinted in Marvel Tales # 150. 76 pgs., full color.
