Cover by Matt Baker. Stories and art by Joe Kubert, Carmine Infantino, George Tuska, Dan Barry, Everett Raymond Kinstler, Marvin Stein, George Roussos, Sy Barry and John Giunta. Classic pre-Code horror from St. John. Guilty of murder, an ex-executioner is ordered to behead himself, in a story by future DC artist and editor Carmine Infantino, with art by comics legend Joe Kubert. Dr. Savant follows the rites of human sacrifice on Genero until he encounters the monster called Octeel, in a story with art by future Marvel artist George Tuska. Robert MacCloran returns to his ancestral lands to claim his birthright, but not if his evil uncle has his way, in a story with early art by future Flash Gordon artist Dan Barry. Plus a PSA on "Polio Precautions" that showcases the comic's era. Cover by good-girl art legend Matt Baker.
