This amazing iron box is a rare piece of art. Very fine worked chest, with wrought iron structure of gothic architectural design typical for that time. It has four also forged legs and a typical upper Gothic handle in the shape of gargoyles?Its also equipped with iron hinges on either side. The opening method is ingeniously concealed: It has the key to lock and two small knobs, reminiscent of miniature feet, can be pulled out from the bottom to release the lid.
