Story by John Byrne and Chris Claremont (dialogue on pages 8-11 & 13-16). Art by John Byrne and Terry Austin (inks on pages 8-11 & 13-16). Heather Hudson and her dear friend, Wolverine of the X-Men, reminisce about James Hudson and his first outing as the hero Vindicator. Meanwhile, Dr. Langkowski continues to test Aurora\'s abilities. All this plus Alpha Flight gets a new leader.
