An albumen print CDV circa 1880 of noted musician Martin Farnum Lyon (1853-1933) who played for many years in Sutton\'s Band based in Naples, New York which traveled throughout western New York State. He had previously toured throughout the US with another band. When the Sutton Band disbanded about 1884, he joined the A.W. Dunton Band. Biographical information from published obituaries. There is some minor foxing in the upper third background of the image, the subject is identified verso and this also includes an unusual \"Compliments of...\" card which appears to be hand drawn (perhaps by Mr Lyons).
