Artist: C. Alan JohnsonStyle: Christmas OrnamentSize: 3\"C. Alan Johnson has designed his Alaska Classics series of christmas ornaments for the discerning collector. A fine reproduction of one of his charming minature oil paintings--created exclusively for this series--has been fired onto each sculptured ornament. The rims are banded by hand in 24k gold. These beautiful ornaments express the same warmth that is found in C. Alan Johnson\'s much-loved ALASKA FIGURINES and will bring many years of delight.

C. Alan Johnson passed away in 2013 an excerpt from his obituary:

Alan was a talented sculptor and watercolorist and the designer of the much loved Alaska Figurines’. With his artist wife, he co-founded the C. Alan Johnson Co. in 1958. They produced artwork for 48 years, until 2006, when he retired at the age of 80 and closed the business. He completed his last painting in 2010 which depicts the FV Thelma C, a historic Alaska salmon fishing boat
