Description: Air Francepostcard commemorating its 1st attempt of a non-stop flight fromFrance to South America. On February 16, 1935, pilots Paul Codos and MauriceRossi take off on board the \"Joseph Le Brix\" to attempt a non-stopflight between Paris and Santiago, Chile. The\"Joseph Le Brix\" aircraft (F-ALCC) was a Blériot 110. Unfortunately,the flight was interrupted by an oil pump break. Codos turned around and landedthe plane with the mail on the Port Praia airfield (Cape Verde islands). From private collection.
