Adorable Vintage MCM Sad Big Eyed Bulldog Dog Ceramic Planter Vase:

This is an adorable mid century modern ceramic dog planter. A big eyed sad bulldog. It is a unique and beautiful color of bluish-gray with burgundy red accents. He has a brown painted nose, eyes, and a pink mouth. He is in very nice condition. No big chips or cracks, one tiny fleabite on the rim edge of planter (this can be seen in the photos). There are no fleabites to his paws or features. The cold paint has minimal loss. His interior is pretty clean. There appears to be a bluish stain in the interior...this could be from manufacturing process and be a paint stain from the glaze. There is slight crazing through-out, but it is hard to see while on display because of the coloring of the dog. - If you do not want to use as a planter and put potting soil into it, it makes a great air plant / succulent holder.
There is a cute \"Provenance\" on the very bottom of the ceramic. It says \"Mark\'s First Word\" - \"Dog\" \"Gogie\"
He stands almost 6 inches tall and 5 inches across at its widest point. Planter mouth opening is 2 3/4 inches across x 2 inches
