Adolphe Braun (13 juin 1812 - 31 décembre 1877) était un photographe français, surtout connu pour ses natures mortes florales, ses scènes de rue parisiennes et ses grands paysages alpins.
L'un des photographes français les plus influents du 19ème siècle, il a utilisé des innovations contemporaines dans la reproduction photographique pour commercialiser ses photographies dans le monde entier.
Dans ses dernières années, il a utilisé des techniques photographiques pour reproduire des œuvres d'art célèbres, ce qui a contribué à faire progresser le domaine de l'histoire de l'art.
Adolphe Braun (June 13, 1812 – December 31, 1877) was a French photographer, best known for his floral still lifes, Parisian street scenes, and grand Alpine landscapes.
One of the most influential French photographers of the 19th century, he used contemporary innovations in photographic reproduction to market his photographs worldwide.
In his later years, he used photographic techniques to reproduce famous works of art, which helped advance the field of art history.
