Description

This is a chance to own an original, Carte de Visite dating to the 1860/70s.It was with a collection of photographs of performers from Theatre and Opera - most of whom would have been celebrities in their day. Whilst many have had their identity verified, this one hasn\'t but it should be known to a collector in this field. It is a studio portrait by the Berlin-based photographers Loescher & Petsch and was sold by Kerr & Richardson, Glasgow. This is just one of a number of interesting CDV and stereoviews on offer this week, all of which are being sold without reserve.
