This is a private mailing card, unposted and featuring a view of actress and singer Lotta Faust. Faust became famous for her performance as Tryxie Tryfle in the 1904-1905 Broadway performance of the Wizard of Oz. She performed the song \"Sammy\" in the dress she is wearing in the photo. Faust was born in 1880 and died in a sanitarium after an operation in 1910.
Note the small pin hole at the top left corner of the postcard.
