Beautiful ART DECO Metal Vase with Glass Insert!!

A stunning look for a little bouquet of flowers, whether real or artificial!

The vase is fashioned as leaves that wrap around in a cone shape into which the removable glass piece is inserted. There is also a handle or loop shape at the bottom, on each of 3 legs, and it is very stable in sitting. (Photos #10 - 12 show the base from each side, capturing a view of each leg.) I don’t know the type of metal, but it has a greenish cast to it and seems fairly sturdy.

The glass is somewhat delicate, but not overly thin. It has ripples around the top edge, and is kind of rounded off at the bottom. There are 8 little indentations at the rim, making a somewhat petal-shape for the rim. See photos. (Photo #9 shows a close-up of the glass insert turned upside down and sitting on a table, to illustrate how the ripples look.)

The metal part measures approximately 7 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the base and also at the widest part of the leaves. It weighs 16.7 ounces. The glass insert measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches wide at the top. It weighs 2.3 ounces.

There are no chips or cracks in the glass, and I do not see any flaws in the metal holder. There do not appear to be any maker\'s marks.
