approximately 8\" tall. 6\" wide The base is 3 \" wide & the \"trumpet\" top of the vase is about 4.75\" wide
I have owned this forever, before the internet and . Purchased for it\'s uniqueness and beautiful Ruby glass.When I was preparing it for photos I noticed aclear spot on Ruby Glass on the lower back part of the trumpet. It is about 1 & 1/2 mm. I never noticed it in the 40 or so years I have owned it. Obviouslyit is not an issue to me and appears to be a manufacturer\'sdefect. I believeit must be where the red encased glass has been missed. But I am definitely not an expert on antique glass
Now that I can see others I think this is a particularly nice one becauseit is sleek, not fussy and mixes well in any decor today. Would be Stunning in a very modern setting and is a one of a kind statement piece.
Circa 1800 in the high Victorian age, although this one does not \"scream Victorian\" like the others do. No one seems to know where they were manufacturedbut do believethey were European. Thereseem to be many more available in Britain than here. I think the Cornucopias must have been rather fragile when combined with the weight of the marble; not many survived. Some for sale have cracksor chips in the glass.
