Here is a really wonderful round metal container with a lid. It is made of pewter. It has a nice patina with a few tiny rust spots. The inside is nice and clean. It has a tiny mark on one of the leaves that says: \"Metzke\". You can see the mark in the first picture if you peer closely. There are three little round felt pieces on the bottom of the lid that I am assuming were to attach the three dimensional rose design to the top of the lid. The lid fits nice and tightly. In my research I did not come across the rose design, so I am assuming it is rather rare. Very nice piece. Please check my other sales for more treasures. I would be glad to combine sales to save on shipping charges.
