You are looking at a very nice green chalkboard framed in oak with a bottom ledge for chalk and erasers. The actual chalkboard is in very nice shape. I am not sure if the inset of the frame was always black, or if someone painted it. This is very heavy ( about 50 pounds) so shipping will reflect that.
