Please email with any questions. Circa 1925-1935 photograph of an African-American family posing for a street photographer. The little boy sits an the photographer\'s pony and the rest of the group gather around. 2 1/2\" by 3\" printed on a piece of black celluloid. We thought it was a tintype until closer inspection. People in the background blur as they walk past the downtown corner where this sweet family are posed. Found in Macon, Georgia, it might likely be downtown Macon. Itinerant photographers (with or without ponies) would travel the region, producing these little moments in time as a souvenir. Some surface wear, scratch down the man\'s leg.
