Victorian Pickle Castor Jar Cranberry Cut to White Produced in the late 1800\'s a beautiful example of an antique pickle jar with original tongs. There is an engraved logo on the bottom but it is very hard to read. There is a engraving of a scale surrounded with the manufacturer of the frame. The legible part of the engraving says Hard White Metal. The cranberry glass jar is in perfect condition with no chips cracks or flaws. The writing on the back of the cocktail fork says ARNHOLZ DUROI PLATEThe handle of the frame is a little loose and does not always stand up strait but it can probably be tightened. I did not attempt to do any cleaning or tightening. The silver plated frame has signs of wear consistent with an item over 100 years old. It is about 10” tall and about 5\" at its base.
