The antique glass ink bottle that is in the interior of the red treenware case is original. The glass bottle no longer holds any ink. The glass bottle has the original label which says The American Fountain Pen Ink. It looks like it had black ink in it- the interior is dried out now. The label and bottle has ink over it and only potions of the label can be seen. Most of these old treenware containers never even have the original bottle inside- so this is a premium no matter what the condition! The old rubber top is worn and has lost part of the nipple or top of it. It is as seen as found. Please see all photos as they tell the best story. Condition is so subjective so it is best that you view them for your estimation of condition as we all see things differently. The treenware item measures approx 5.5\" Tall X 1.75\" Diameter and the Ink Bottle measures approx 3.25\" Tall X 1.25\" Diameter.Antique \"The American Fountain Pen Ink\" Old ink bottle with Antique Red Wood Screw Top Carrying Case. Good vintage condition, bottle has portion of old rubber stopper and the bottle has no chips or cracks. Wood carrying case is in really nice good to very good used/antique condition.
