This is an antique, magnificent, rare, profusely decorated and figural french carriage clock with sonnerie, quarter repeater and alarm function. Serial number 2731. Highly ornate with footed claws (with Louis XV style), a mask, flowers, leaves, fruit and artistic decoration on frames and an exquisite and finely carved flowers, leaves and branches (several kind of flowers as rose, daisy and more) over frontal side. This frontal side has two round porcelain dials with artistic arabic numerals (a porcelain scale for hours and a small scale for alarm). Includes original key. Very good condition with slight singlas of use consistent with age and a minimal loss in one faceted glass panel. Case has been professionally cleaned but not restored or regilded.Keeping time when tested, however it is an old clock so i do not guarantee accuracy of timekeeping.Height with extended handle is 18.5 centimeters.
