This is in excellent condition, and came from a New Jersey estate where the previous owner had an extensive collection of baskets and pottery. It was all immaculately kept in glass cases and also includes the original provenance with detailed records from where it was purchased, purchase price etc. This was purchased in 1983 and has the story of purchase on the papers shown. This was appraised in 1985 by Pierre G. Bovis and he belives it was made at the school of James Wharton at the turn of the century. This measures12\" diameter X 5 1/2\" high.
