THIS CLOKC IS THE BEST EXAMPLE I KNOW THAT SHOWS THE AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL AND SUBLIME CONRAST OF BLACK MARBLE WITH ORMOLU BRONZE. REALLY FABULOUS. THIS MASTERPIECE IS SIGNED BYTHE FRENCH SCULPTOR RON LIOD SAUVAGEAND VRAI PARIS FOUNDRY ON DIAL.THIS SPECTACULAR CLOCK IS THE ONLY CLOCK THAT PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE CELEBRATED RENAISSANCE FAMILY OF THE MEDICI AND THE ONLY ONE OF THE FRENCH SCULPTOR LIOD SAUVAGE.

ONE OF A KIND. I TRY TO SHOW HOW MAGNIFICENT IS THIS FIVE PIECE ANTIQUE FRENCH CLOCK, BUT PICTURES DO NOT GIVE JUSTICE. Antique, monumental, palatial imposing five piece garniture clock made in black Belgian marble and ormolu bronze. It was made in Paris, France, during second half of XIX century. Made in the Renaissance and Empire style with ormolu bronze columns (all set has 20 columns) and two figures of the famous Medici Family: Lorenzo De Medici and Giuliano de Medici, a soldier woman on the pinnacle, different soldiers in each five arms candelabras, and birds over urns with lids. The clock has a gilded plaque with detailed war scene, each candelabra has scenes around and each urn has a relief of a man with a wolf helmet and a woman. This fabulous and palatial clock is in working order and has minimal details and slight signals of use consistent with age, and a small lose in the edge near a corner, otherwise in very good condition. It is signed by the French sculptor Ron Liod Sauvage, and the dial is singed by Vrai Bronze Paris Foundry.It has a 8 days winding French movement with pendulum in working order with striking function for hours (one sound for each hour) and half hours (one sound).It has a great sound because it has a gong, not a bell. It includes original key.As i explained, the movement is in running order with the strikework functioning as it should when tested. We cannot however guarantee the movement or any mechanical operation following shipping and therefore recommend getting it overhauled by an expert to adjust it.A really magnificent, imposing and impressive five piece clock for demanding collectors.Height of clock is 70 centimeters. Wide of clock is 44 centimeters. Height of each candelabra is 62 centimeters. Height of each urn is 30 centimeters.
