ANTIQUE c. 1800's SMALL MEXICAN BAROQUE STYLE RELIGIOUS PAINTING in ORIGINAL, CAREFULLY RESTORED INTRICATELY WOOD-CARVED GILDED FRAME, featuring FINELY PAINTED IMAGE of CROWNED VIRGIN MARY, WEARING PEARLS, AND SURROUNDED BY WHITE LILIES.
SIGNED BY THE ARTIST - Arcadio Vega - in the LOWER RIGHT CORNER.
THE FINE PAINTING IS 9.5" x 7.5" FRAMED; IMAGE ONLY IS 5" X 3".
The painting itself is in good vintage condition; intricately cut gilded wood frame has been carefully restored and literally assembled piece by piece (see multiple detailed photos); still there is a loss to the wood in the upper right corner of the frame. Perhaps, that piece of frame has been lost for good.
