ITEM DESCRIPTION In the presence of wind of breeze the tubes of the lampshade produce a sound of tubular bells. ONE OF A KIND. This is, with no doubt, the most impressive and fabulous jeweled glass lamp (with an art and crafts lampshade) i have ever seen. This antique, monumental and exquisite french ormolu bronze and marble lamp (made in the style of empire, Napoleon III and Louis XVI) has six lamp holders covered by a gilded, repousse and pierced lampshade profusely decorated with artistic and translucent glasses finely made with different colors, and most of them with the shape of roses and marguerites (jeweled glass). The edge of this magnificent lampshade is surrounded by hanging glass spheres and crystal tubes. It has been incredibly well preserved, so not even a crystal tube or glass flower is missing. Because its amazing ornamentation, this lamp produces a fantastic, unique and charming atmosphere (see detailed pictures). This exceptional lamp has a withe marble base with three ormolu bronze feet that ends in three roman soldiers. All ormolu bronze parts are incredibly detailed. Circa 1900. Electrified and working.Excellent original condition with minimal signals of use. A sublime and unique lamp for demanding collectors. Overall height is 83 centimeters (almost 33 inches).
