Circa 19THC. A beautiful shaped large Brussels lace shawl collar measuring approx. 26”in diameter by 6” at widest part. this either can be worn as a collar or one could attach lace and make into a mantilla. . The quality of thread is very good and fine and the workmanship is excellent. There are shaped oval vignettes ( 9 total ) with fine three-dimensional flowers with raised petals in the design.This item seems unused and so it has its original cream patina. There are a couple of tiny dot age spots, minor just needs a q-tip spot clean..

❗️On one vignette mesh fragment is slightly damaged, ( please see all pictures for the details ) this is the only damage and is in very excellent condition for an almost two-century-old item of such exquisite but at the same time durable quality! 🤗

The collar is in very good strong condition
