This GORGEOUS 19th-century Antique Porcelain Painting in the style of "Gudt Nache" - "Good Night Girl" is of stupendous quality! The colors are still sharp, vivid, and richly warm. The subject is a young damsel holding a candleholder+candle with its reflection glowing against her countenance. She is wearing a mysteriously alluring expression, very reminiscent of the Mona Lisa's famously ambiguous yet lovely expression. It has the original painted wooden frame, and its beauty is reflected in the skilled artistic method used!

It was produced between early to mid 19th-20th centuries. KPM

This stunning piece of art measures 11⅜"L x 8⅜"W x 1⅜"H with frame and 8¼"L x 5¼"W inside frame. The porcelain plaque itself would be around 9"L x 6W"

There is an engraved '324' on the reverse and no visible cracks, areas of discoloration, warps, or chips on the surface only a few chips on the original frame - can be re-framed if desired.
