Beautiful but somewhat worn!
Size comparable to twin, 76\" long x 54\" wide. Could be used for a foot warmer, throw, twin bed or crib.
Lovely antique hand sewn patchwork quilt that shows a bit of use and age, made of mainly pastels cotton patchwork top in Chevrons and Diamonds that look like a geometric pattern. Diamond pattern sewing. Gorgeous lavender backing and cotton batting as fill. Stitching looks to be hand sewn. Has several holes. I was hard pressed to find stains. Still a great gem.
Please see all photos and scrutinize them with an intense scrute. There are holes where the fill makes itself known. The edges are more frayed in some parts than others. Some edges look to be in very good condition, and other parts look like the cat got it. The whole of it is lovely, in decent condition, and a testimony to meticulous hand stitchery on a mission to look beautiful and warm. Have a great day!
