This is an antique German porcelain wall plaque from 1850-1880 featuring two crying children in raised relief. The plaque is suitable for any room and is signed by the maker. The style is Victorian/Old world/European and the primary material is porcelain. The plaque is multi-colored on white and is part of the Plaques collection. It is a German porcelain figurine and is an original from the Victorian era.
I have searched far and wide to identify this makers mark, but to no avail. I was able to locate on other, but this woman could not identify the makers mark either. Her plaque was different than this one and it featured cherubs, I have never been able to locate one exactly the same as this piece. All I know is that it is German and made in the mid 1800’s. It has been a real mystery!
