I have three large panels of this early 18th century floss stitch embroidery with silver metallic appliques and gold cord trim around the edge.All hand made. Amazing craftmanship!It\'s backed with a linen of the same time period; you will find a number of early tiny repairs. Possible Italian in origin.Condition is fragile, good for study. Beautiful document pieces. The measures do not include the shattered silk area at the borders.
