ANTIQUE EMBOSSED DRUGGIST BOTTLE J. S. HEWITT MILFORD MI EARLY 1900’s

J. S. Hewitt opened his drugstore on Main Street in downtown Milford, Michigan in the 1870’s. According to the Milford Historical Society, the store remained open till the 1970’s and was one of the nicest stores in town. This is a very stylish medicine bottle that they used for prescriptions. It reads “Druggist J S Hewitt Milford, Michigan. The bottle is 5-1/4” tall, 2-1 /4” wide and 1-1/4” deep. The neck itself is 1-1/8” long and has been applied to the bottle instead of it being all one piece. There are four seams in the manufacture of the bottle. The glass is clear with no chips, cracks or flaws. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more photos. We happily combine shipping if you purchase more than one item.
