These are in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very Nice pair of lamps and porcelain shades. These feature a boy and a girl in 18th century garb seated in light brown wicker or cane chairs. The boy is wearing a white suit with dark red cuffs and lapels. The coat is accented with small floral clusters. He has brown hair and and a pleasant, finely detailed expression. His crossed legs don\'t touch the base. His hat is in his lap and and he has gold accents on his shoes, hat, and vest. He appears to have the original bulb socket and an inline switch.
The light brown-haired girl is wearing a low square necked dress with a dark red bodice and elbow length sleeves. The neckline and cuffs are accented with gold. Her underskirt is white with floral clusters matching the boy\'s. She has a peach overskirt that matches the hat on her lap. Her legs are crossed and one foot touches the base. It appears her light bulb socket has been replaced with a gold one. She has an in-line switch.
These lamps have roughly oval-shaped porcelain shades that are pierced to allow heat to escape on the sides and top. On the two large sides there is an embossed scene of a man and woman with gilded accents. There are four indented brown basket weave columns with multiple piercings. On the small sides of the lamp are several floral clusters. These lampshades have gilded accents, including a fixed porcelain plume finial topped with gold. The shades rest on round metal brackets.
These lamps measure 20 1/2\" High x 8\" Wide rim to rim at the long axis of the shade. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition these lamps.
