ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERED PANEL (15” X 20” FRAMED) GORGEOUS:
$395.50

Listing is for an ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERED PANEL (15” x 20” FRAMED) GORGEOUS! Has been in the owners family for 80+ years and is being listed simply as the owner is down-sizing. Attention to detail is off-the-chart stuff. Pictures are from the actual Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered Panel, and not a glossy website, which is illegal without permission from the original creator of this piece. Pictures have not been enhanced or re-formatted and were taken with my iPhone 8+.  The pictures do not capture the beauty of this piece!

The skinny? This Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered Panel is a true treasure for any collector. The intricate silk embroidery is framed (light frame), making it a stunning piece of decor for any room. The stitch is commonly referred to as the “forofferden stitch”. The origin of this piece is from China, giving it even more cultural significance. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is evident in this one-of-kind textile. With this piece containing thousands of tiny threads, a composition requires an extremely high level of skill to create. The reflective nature of the silk thread allows the lively colors to stand out beautifully in light. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting out, this antique silk panel is sure to impress. Add it to your collection or display it as a statement piece in your home. Sold as is…normal aging.

Chinese Silk Embroidery? Having over 2,500 years of history, Silk embroidery is the most famous handmade embroidery art among all embroideries in China. Because it is originated in the city Suzhou, it is also called Su Xiu (Xiu means sewing beauty with a needle).

I get nauseous when I see inflated shipping costs on .  Shipping should not be a profit center.  Sellers who do not understand this should be publicly tarred and feathered. With this in mind, shipping is a flat $37.50 via USPS to anywhere in the United States, and I will get back to you via with the USPS tracking number.  Will be packed / shipped as fragile of course.

I have been on since 2002 and have 1,907+ Positive Feed-backs (100%). This did not happen by accident of course over the past 22 years. In short, you can trust me.  No returns, nor will you have a need to.  I do not ship outside the United States…but do support ’s Global / International Shipping Program.

Questions or additional pictures?  Don't be shy!
