A very interesting old Chinese necklace. Hand strung it is now in pieces and will need to be re-strung. I have no idea what the green pieces are made from. I’m guessing it’s some type of plastic, maybe with glass in it? Maybe all glass. Maybe reconstituted stone. It looks similar to celadon jade from a short distance. I believe the pearls are real but I’m not totally sure of that. The spacers are either rock crystal or glass. The clasp and rings on pendant look to be silver, probably .900. It’s a very cool piece and very unique. I’m guessing one of the green tube shaped beads must be missing since there are only three present. This came out of an old collection that I bought part of at sale. They had a lot of good antique Chinese things. Hopefully someone can give it a new life or just enjoy it as it sits I suppose.
