ANTIQUE CARVED WOOD HORSE FOALS 1947 GERMANY.THE SOLID WOOD BASE MEASURES APPROX 9 1/4\"IN. LONG X 5.75\" IN. WIDE X 10 1/4\" IN. HIGH FROM BASE BOTTOM TO TOP OF HIGHEST POINT OF HORSE\'S HEAD LOOKING UPWARDS. THE CARVED WOOD GERMAN SCULPTURE HAS DAMAGE WITH CLEAN BREAK ON EAR AND WEAR CHIPS TO TIPS ON ALL OF THE EARS. THE FOALS ARE SEPARATE CARVINGS AND ARE ATTACHED TO THE BASE WITH GLUE. A VERY INTERESTING CARVING AND I AM TRULY FASCINATED BY IT, I FIND THAT THE FOALS DETAILED FEATURES ARE VERY LOVELY. OVERALL A VERY NICE WOODED ANTIQUE GERMAN WOOD SCULPTURE. THE BASE IS SIGNED\"Weihnachten 1947\" which translates from German to \"Christmas 1947\".
