Extremely interesting nicely CARVED African Antique Head. The DRIFTWOOD said to be found on the Coast of Angola in the LATE 1800s. Purchased by Seller in the 1960s from a Highly Reputable Antique Dealer in San Francisco. GUMPS in SF

Verified the piece as Authentic, but did NOT provide written authentication. The Cocobolo Base was added later by Newport Beach, CA craftsman. Sadly, no written Authentication is available. Measures approx. 16 inches Tall. The Base is 4 1/2 by 4 inches. It has been displayed by Owner since the acquisition and never treated other than household cloth polishing.
