BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK
ELISABETH JANE FAIRBAIRNS WAS A SILVER PLATE MAKER IN LONDON AND SHEFFIELD LISTED AS ACTIVE IN 1893, PROBABLY RETAILED THIS ITEM RATHER THAN MADE IT.
SEEMS TO BE IN WORKING ORDER AS RAN FOR A WEEK, NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN AND POLISH, SEE THE OVAL GLASS TOP INSERT WHICH IS SLIGHTLY LOOSE AND DOES MOVE TO NEARLY HIDE THE GAP, NOT SURE IF THAT HAS BEEN CHIPPED OR JUST CUT BADLY.
