Up for Sale is a \"RARE\" Brass Scissor Type Candle Snuffer. It is stamped on the snuffer--PATENTED NOV. 24 1857 See Picture #8. It is 6 inches long. (See Picture #2)
Judging from the construction of this Scissor Type Candle Snuffer, it could very well be the \"PROTO-TYPE\". I believe that it is! Look at the tip & the soldering in (Pictures #1, 5, 6 & #7)
