RARE! I have never seen another like it. This is a large antique c1920 Austrian bronze holy water font that could be either hung on the wall or displayed on a table with the easel back. There is a slag glass panel \"shrine\" like structure at the top covering an electric socket/bulb that lights the font. The image of Mary is just beautiful with exquisite detail.. she is wearing a flowing two tone robe that is cold painted for contrast. There are angels in the clouds, and at her feet there is a holy water font/well surrounded by cherubs. The bottom right edge is signed \"Titze\" for Alfonso Titze, a well known Austrian sculptor, c1920. This piece is large, measuring 20\" tall, 7 1/2\" across, and 3 1/2\" deep. It weighs just under 6 pounds. The piece was rewired in recent years using cloth covered wire.. the cord is a bit short, 28\" long, so you may have to use an extension cord with it. I will pack this extremely well. You will be very pleased.
