Condition: Excellent. All aspects of this piece suggests that it was either never used or slightly used. The original brass / copper patina is intact and we have lightly dusted the exterior and interior. It is as found and in all original condition. The interior appears to be a wood grain bakelite-like material that shows little to no wear. The female semi nude style suggests the era from 1915 to the height of the Egyptian craze in 1922 when Howard Carter discovered the tomb of King Tut (Tutankhamun). Art Nouveau meets Art Deco and combines the risque with the stylish.
