ITEM DESCRIPTION This is an antique and exceptional French crystal bottle or jar with an impressive faceted round lid. Probably Baccarat. Made during last quarter or 19th century. The rectangular body is surrounded by baskets, flowers, leaves, ribbons and bows ormolu mounts in the Louis XVI and Empire styles. Extra fine quality. Profusely decorated with highly detailed and exquisite ornamentation. Very sophisticated French bottle or jar. Excellent original antique condition with no broken or missing parts with discoloration consistent with age. A beautiful and exquisite piecefor demanding collectors.Height is 19 centimeters.
