ANTIQUE 1930 AUTHENTIC CHIPARUS BRONZE SCULPTURE PIERROT ETLING PARIS FOUNDRY:

THIS IS THE RARE AND LARGE VERSION OF THE PIERROT SCULPTURE MADE BY CHIPARUS (41 CM. TALL), AND NOT THE MOST COMMON AND SMALL VERSION (30 CM. TALL). Antique and authentic cold painted bronze sculpture by Demetre H. Chiparus titled: PIERROT PLAYING THE MANDOLINE. Really exceptional and large sculpture made in Paris, France, during 1920s or beginning of 1930s. Signed by Chiparus and singed by Etling Paris foundry.Excellent original condition with slight patina consistent with age. Beautiful and original Chiparus culpture for demanding collectors. Height is 41 centimeters.

Provenance. This sculpture was part of the collection of the Alzaga Unzué family, oneof the most representative families of the Argentine landowning bourgeoisie.
