ANTIQUE 1800s CHEYENNE SIOUX NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED HIDE HOLSTER:

ANTIQUE 1800s CHEYENNE SIOUX NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED HIDE LARGE FRAME REVOLVER HOLSTER. The holster measures 13"T x 7.5"W x 2.75"D with 11" long leather fringe. Fits an 1860 .44 Colt Revolver perfectly and an 1851 Colt should fit as well. The flap is quite stiff from age and non-use over the last century or more. The flap has its tie down thongs too. This holster was in the Indigenous Indian Museum in Montana for many years until the 1940s when the museum closed up. Excellent overall condition with wonderful long hide fringe and tight glass seed beadwork. I have not seen one any better, and I am an experienced Old West and Native American dealer/collector.
