ANRI 6.5 inch Hand Carved Wood Groden Valley Village Woman with a Walking Stick Carrying a Sack on her BackThis vintage ANRI hand-carved wood figurine, much like many ANRI pieces, was inspired by a villager from the Groden Valley in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, Italy. She is 6.5 inches from the top of her head to the bottom of her wood base, which is 2.5 inches wide. The wood carving is of excellent quality and judging by the caricature style, is probably an early piece, made in or near the1920's. The ANRI brand is well-known for producing top-quality handcrafted woodcarvings that are highly collectible. This wood carving is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece that would make an excellent addition to your decorative collectibles collection or a unique gift for collectors. Please note: I do not believe the stick she is carrying is original.
