ANCIENT ROMAN IRON Early WEISENAU Type LEGIONARY HELMET 1-2 ct AD ANCIENT BALKAN.This is an original ancient Roman iron Weisenau type infantry helmet dating back to the late 1st to early 2nd century AD. The helmet is believed to have been used by either Legio VII Claudia PF or Legio IIII Flavia Felix, and was found in the ancient Balkan region, specifically in Singidunum (Ancient Belgrade). It is a segmented helmet with a neck guard and is made of brown iron. This artifact is not only a decorative piece but also a defensive weapon used by Roman soldiers in battles. It is a rare find and a valuable addition to any collection of armor and shields, knives, swords, and blades, or in any Roman-themed collection.
