This is a vintage circa 1986 assembled AMT USS Enterprise model kit built in the process of “self destructing”. I built this when I was about 12 years old. I was fascinated with the destruction of the Enterprise at the end of Star Trek III - The Search for Spock. So I decided to build one self destructing. I watched frame by frame to get it right. Im now about a half century old and it has sat in storage at least 30 years. It is in need of love/restoration and I simply don’t have the time. As you can see the engines have broken off and it is missing the bottom of the saucer section. It would make for an excellent one-of-a-kind piece if restored or great for parts.
