AMP Co Postcard Postmarked 1911 THANKSGIVING GREETINGS Embossed Boy Blunderbuss:

For your consideration is this antique postcard produced by the Alcan Moss Publishing Company of New York in the early 1900s. Adorning the top of the postcard is an adorable Thanksgiving Scene of a colonial boy hunting, holding his bunderbuss, two turkeys, and a scared little rabbit in snowy woods. The top reads "THANKSGIVING GREETINGS" in gold (it is a little hard to read in the photo), plus "SERIES 353". The backside bears a 1¢ stamp and is postmarked Brookhaven, MIS, 1911. This postcard is addressed to Miss Lucy Warren of Hayes, Mississippi. The postcard is in overall good condition with some slight corner wear and discoloration. It is standard size (5.5" x 3.5"). Absolutely lovely graphic and great piece to be framed and displayed.
Note: I treat all my postcards with archival safe solvents to clean and neutralize any foxing that might be present. A chemical smell may be observed upon receipt, but it will soon dissipate.
